Today was a successful hangover Sunday.  Let’s flashback to a month ago.  I would be sitting on my couch eating crab rangoon, lo mein and egg drop soup.  All of it.  I would eat every last bite.  After I would convince myself that I felt better and my hangover was cured.

Today is a new me.  I was feeling a bit under the weather because I had a bit of a cold as well so I had chicken noodle soup.  I had a hankering for a big New Jersey bagel with cream cheese so I took the alternative and had a bagel thin with 100 calorie cream cheese to side my bowl of soup.  I then took a long nap to sleep off the headache and hope to feel a bit better.  Around dinner time, I had 20 points left.  I have to be honest with you, I didn’t even want to order Chinese food.  I had Green Giant broccoli and white cheddar in the freezer and figured that would be pretty tasty.  I looked through my past week and didn’t think I ate all that much protein so I grilled up a lean chicken breast and a cup of brown rice.  In the past couple of years, I never really measured anything out to see how much I was eating.  I measured out everything tonight and marked it on the Weight Watchers website.  I’m really getting back into this whole thing and it’s feeling pretty great.

After a long night of Bud Lights, I weighed myself this morning and not very surprised, it said I was up a pound.  I’m not all too worried about it because nothing counts until Tuesday and I’m already down 1.4 since last week which I think is a victory.
