Well let’s just say that the eating went seriously downhill when I went on my first trip to Los Angeles. It was raining for most of the time so my sister and I ended up making meals our main events of the day. I have to say that for the first time in a while, I really let myself have whatever I wanted and didn’t restrict myself. All day Sunday, I worked 21 hours on a music video shoot. We were told, you never know when you will eat next so when you have the opportunity, you should eat. Here is a brief clip of what my eating looked like over those 5 days: Sbarro pizza (gross and not worth it), TONS of fresh sushi, Griddle Cafe whole wheat pancakes, shrimp tacos, lots of wine and margaritas, bellini, breakfast burrito with goat cheese and avocado, mashed potatoes, caesar salad, bagel, In n Out Burger (double double animal style)….um yup..that basically sums up my fattiness. It was delicious, every last bite. Do I regret it? I mean…I could’ve probably done without a few of those meals or drinks that just weren’t worth it. This week continued into Christmas Eve/Day which I never hold back on because I go to this restaurant once a year. Angel hair with prosciutto, peas and scallops in vodka sauce. Strawberry cheesecake. Prime rib. Double baked mashed potatoes and creamed spinach.
Now I’m starting to get grossed out. My roomie and I got snowed in and we live in a city so you are basically snowed in for days. We chose to drink the 2 bottles of wine that our landlords gave us and ordered Chinese food. After this, my body was fed up and said no more. I could not fall asleep and woke up and had to run to the bathroom. The next day, I waited a while because I didn’t want to throw up again. Once I was finally hungry, I ordered more food. Bad idea…yup.
So the end result is me weighing in myself today and gaining 5 lbs back that I lost. It wasn’t all worth it but it happened and I have to deal with it.
